The Prisoner of Second Avenue
by Neil Simon
directed by Fay McKenna
February 29 – March 2 & March 7–9
It’s a midlife crisis of epic proportions! Mel has been laid off. He can’t breathe from the air pollution and can’t sleep because the stewardesses in the next apartment are too noisy. His wife loses her job, his psychiatrist dies with $23,000 of Mel’s money, and his apartment is burglarized. So he takes the next logical step, and has a nervous breakdown! You’ll admire this couple’s grit and resilience as they get their life back on track with the help (or is it hindrance?) of Mel’s sisters and brother.
